G.R.A.C.E. TEAMS

WHAT ARE G.R.A.C.E. TEAMS?
Simply stated, they are groups of people who work together to meet specific needs within the church family and community.  The word GRACE is an acronym for “God’s Resources Applied Compassionately by Everyone”.  That statement reflects our desire to see everyone have the opportunity to get plugged into compassion based ministry, to express Christ’s love within our church family, and to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our community!

GRACE Cards seeks to see the church working as a caring family expressing concern for each others.  The team will send cards to persons or families who have experienced a loss, an accident, an operation or serious illness, a major achievement, or who have recently been out of touch.

GRACE Meals seeks to see people in life changing situations supported by the church family.  The team will supply meals where the main meal provider is not able due to a birth, death, an accident, or other difficult circumstances.

GRACE Visits seeks to see the lonely in the
church family encouraged. The team will visit
the elderly, the sick, hospitalized, and those
separated from routine contact with our
church family.

GRACE Home Repairs seeks to assist those
needing serious small repairs to their homes
by providing labor in cases where the family is
unable to do so themselves due to financial
or physical situations.

GRACE Bereavement seeks to support those in the church family who have recently lost a love one by assisting with burdening concerns such as light housekeeping, funeral dinners, and house sitting.

GRACE Bridging seeks to help newcomers to our church feel welcome and more quickly connected to our church family by being there for visitors, providing visitor packets and information, and forming friendships with our new families.

GRACE Military Outreach seeks to support the faith of Christians in military service as well as encourage those without faith to trust and know Jesus Christ.  The team will partner with the U.S.O. to supply materials for ministry and gifts of encouragement for service men and women.

GRACE Hospice partners with Hospice of the
Western Reserve to support people at the end
of life and their families through
companionship, housekeeping, meal sharing,
gospel sharing, and prayer.
